Water sloshing sound behind the dashboard when I turn corners, can't figure out where it's trapped


For the last week or so I've been hearing this unmistakable sloshing sound somewhere from the front of the cabin whenever I take a sharp turn or go around a roundabout, it literally sounds like a half full water bottle rolling around under the carpet but I've checked everywhere and there's nothing loose in the car. The AC drains are clear because I poked a wire through them and got a puddle on the garage floor like normal, and the passenger footwell carpet isn't damp so I don't think it's a blocked evaporator drain backing up into the cabin. I'm starting to wonder if it could be trapped water inside the cowl area at the base of the windscreen or maybe the door sills are retaining rainwater from the last storm we had, but I can't figure out exactly where it's pooling and it's driving me nuts.
