Zip Screen for Pergola | Accessories

[Samanta Fox]

Hello everyone,

I'm currently looking into zip screens for pergolas and would really appreciate some advice from people with real experience.

How effective are zip screen systems as pergola accessories in terms of wind protection, sun shading, and privacy? Do they hold up well over time, especially in changing weather conditions like strong wind, rain, and temperature fluctuations?

Zip screens are quite effective for pergolas, especially for sun protection, privacy, and light wind control.
From what I know, https://www.aluminumpergola.ca/pergola-accessories/zip-screen/  systems handle them well thanks to durable materials and solid track design. They work great in normal daily use, but it's still best to retract them during strong wind or storms to ensure long-term durability.
